155mm Damascus Petty
Steel: 15n20 & 1084
Blade length: 155mm
Overall Length: 284mm
Weight: 158g
The blade of this one is approximately 200 layers of alternating 1084 and 15n20. I hand forged the blade to shape before pressing grooves in the steel to force a ladder pattern into the layers of the steel. The handle has an ebony bolster with brass and corian spacers below it. For the main portion of the handle I used stabilised mountain ash with some curling in the grain to mimic the ladder pattern in the blade.

180mm Stainless Sci-Fi Chef
Steel: 12c27 (61HRC)
Blade length: 180mm
Overall Length: 305mm
Weight:179g
I made this knife specifically to show off a bit of the opal g10 that I had recently gotten my hands on. its slight translucency makes the very end of the handle look pretty cool as the material tapers off and thus gets clearer and clearer.

HUNTERS & UTILITY

95mm Stonewashed Utility Knife
Steel: 15n20
Blade length: 95mm
Overall Length: 193mm
Weight: 145g
I made this knife over Easter at my good friend Stu's workshop (Rule 9 Knives). I made this to test forging a bigger version of the jumping spider EDC knives I make. it seemed to work great! I'll be making more of these in the near future.
This knife has a 15n20 blade, stabilised walnut scales, and brass pins.

85mm Tiffany Blue EDC
Steel: 15n20
Blade length: 85mm
Overall Length:179mm
Weight: 119g
My initial idea for this knife was to create my ideal fixed blade EDC in terms of size, shape, and material. I also had this special G10 that I've been waiting to use forever so I thought it was a good opportunity to try it out.
The blade is 85mm long and is made out of 15n20 high carbon steel, the handle is 94mm long with tiffany blue G10 scales held to the tang with black g10 pins and a carbon fiber lanyard tube.
This knife comes with a kydex sheath and ulticlip.

105mm Camp Knife
Steel: 15n20
Blade length: 105mm
Overall Length:215mm
Weight: 157g
This knife is designed to be an every day use knife that can handle some heavier jobs. It has a thicker edge than a lot of my edc knives but is a little smaller in overall size than a full on camping knife so it's meant to fill that gap in between the two.
For the handle material, this is my first time trying out the bone colour g10. I think it works really nicely with the natural micarta pins.
This knife comes with a leather sheath .

65mm Classic EDC
Steel: 1084
Blade length: 65mm

I forged this after helping teach a petty knife class at Stackhouse knives. Stu Lind of Rule 9 Knives was forging out some damascus and I decided I needed to make something, this is what I ended up with.
This knife has a 1084 blade, black g10 scales kindly given to me by Stu, and brass pins.
This knife will come with a kydex sheath and a pocket clip.

Low Layer Damascus Camp knife
Steel: 15n20 & 1084
Blade length: 145mm
Overall Length: 265mm
Weight: 168g
This knife was hand forged out of an offcut from a billet I made at Eveleigh Works in Sydney. This particular offcut was from the first forge weld, we started with 14 layers of alternating 1084 and 15n20. The guard is forge blackened mild steel and the handle is a piece of curly pōhutukawa.

118mm Heavy Utility
Steel: AEB-L (61HRC)
Blade length: 118mm
Overall Length: 247mm
Weight: 254g
This design started out as a concept for a diving knife I was commissioned to make. I ended up really liking the shape and ergonomics of the diving knife so I decided to go back to my initial concept and make one. I personally really love the design, I believe it would work really well for many different jobs.
This one has some OD green G10 scales with black g10 pins and a carbon fibre lanyard tube. It also comes with a kydex sheath and ulticlip.

Fully Forged Utility
Steel: 80CRV2
Blade length: 96mm
Overall Length: 195mm
Weight: 125g
I made this knife while visiting Stu's (Rule 9 Knives) workshop. He offered me a little square of 80CRV2 and I just started forging with no real specific end goal in mind, just wanted a knife.
About a week prior to this, Stu had made a bunch of fully forged paring knives with rounded off edges. I thought they were pretty awesome so I decided to try to make a utility knife in that same style.
This one can come with a leather or kydex sheath, just let me know if you're wanting one in your enquiry.

1095 Takedown Camp Knife
Steel: 1095
Blade length: 160mm
Overall Length: 282mm
Weight: 242g
This knife was my first proper attempt at a hamon with 1095 steel. During the quench I believe some of the clay separated from the blade leading to a smaller hamon than I was expecting, though it does have a differential hardness to it.
This knife has an aged brass guard and a stabilised walnut handle. because it's a takedown it's super easy to clean and sharpen.

BOWIES & FIGHTERS

1095 Hamon Bowie
Steel: 1095
Blade length: 207mm
Overall Length:342mm
Weight: 362g
This was my first fully successful attempt at a hamon in 1095 steel. Currently this is one of the knifes I am most proud of, I seriously love almost every part of it.
The fittings on this one are cold blued mild steel with accents of polished brass, and the handle is some beautifully curly Tasmanian blackwood. This knife is a takedown so is easily cleaned and maintained.
This knife comes with a leather pack sheath.

DAGGERS & SWORDS

Elysiance
Steel: 15N20 & 1084
Blade length: 450mm
Overall Length: 620mm
Weight: 846g
This short sword was made over the course of 7 months, including the sheath at stand I have about 130 hours of total working time in this piece.
This is my second time making mosaic damascus steel, the blade pattern has almost 20,000 individual layers/segments and the mammoth ivory handle is up to 40,000 years old.

2022 48 Hour Dagger
Steel: 15n20 & 1084
Blade length: 220mm
Overall Length: 350mm
Weight: 315g
This was the second year I participated in the 48hr dagger challenge. for this one I decided to make my interpretation of a Japanese version of a rondell dagger.
The blade is 9mm thick at the ricasso making it perfect for piercing through chainmail. In Japanese blade design we often see a collar (Habaki) of a softer metal used before the guard, this softer metal absorbs impacts and reduces the shock to the user's hand.
the handle is wrapped in rayskin as we see on Japanese swords, this is done to make sure the blade isn't going to slip in use.

2023 48 Hour Dagger
Steel: 1084
Blade length: 150mm
Overall Length: 270mm
Weight: 193g
This was my third year of participating in the 48 hour dagger challenge. For this year the workshop I normally work out of wasn't available so I ended up going on a nearly 800km round trip on my motorcycle to Taupō to see Lee and Helen of Inner Wild.
This was the most fun I've had during the challenge and I really think it shows in the final outcome. This knife is definitely one of my favourite objects I've made.
It has an integral guard and a 90 degree tang that I think works really well in this design. This dagger comes with a leather sheath.

Tri Edge Stiletto
Steel: 5160
Blade length: 210mm
Overall Length: 312mm
Weight: 226g
This dagger was actually the first thing I ever made on my lathe. I had seen many people online making these andI really wanted to see if I could do it.
I really love how it turned out, cold blued steel and brass always look fantastic together in my opinion.
This one has a hand forged 5160 blade with mild steel guard and handle, and of course two brass collars to break up the darkness in the rest of the piece.

NFKxFS fighting knife
Steel: 1084
Blade length: approx 170mm
Overall Length: approx 285mm
Weight: approx 230g
I make my Fairbairn Sykes daggers individually by hand without any complex CNC machines. Each one is slightly different as were the originals.
I make my FS daggers so that they can be taken apart and cleaned or refinished which I believe is an improvement over the original design that were permanently peened together.
These can be made in any pattern and in many different finishes. The final price will depend on the style, finishes, and any other customisations. These daggers also come with pack sheaths as standard but you can request a belt sheath instead.

TOOLS & MORE...

Small Gunstock Warclub
Steel: 1075
Blade length: 65mm
Overall Length: 586mm
Weight: 581g
I occasionally make objects because I really just want to hold them in real life. This is one of those objects.
I had seen these online every now and then and they always intrigued me so one day when I was in between commissions I decided to make two of these.
These are native American throwing and/or hand to hand combat weapons, primarily used for defense but with the additional spike would occasionally be used for offensive fighting too.

Kiridashi
Steel: -
Blade length: 20-45mm
Overall Length: 100-180mm
Weight: -
Kiridashi are traditionally Japanese woodworking knives, used to scribe lines though they are super useful for any number of tasks. I personally use Kiridashi for opening boxes, cutting out designs in both paper and leather, carving, sewing, or really anything else that a small pointy blade could be good for.
I make these in varying sizes and am happy to make you one to a custom length. I also make them with or without a lanyard hole.
If you are interested in one please let me know what size you want and any other small details you'd like me to add.
